What we do
Somebody has to actually run
your Google Business Profile.
For a dumpster company the Google profile does more work than the website. It is also the thing a lot of operators set up once and never open again.
Google Business Profile management means keeping the listing that produces your calls correct and active: categories, services, service area, hours, photos, posts and review responses. For a local trade it is usually the highest-return hour of marketing work available.
Why the profile outranks your website
Because for a "dumpster rental near me" search Google is answering with a map, not a list of websites. The profile is what fills that map. Your site supports it; it does not replace it.
In one study, 42% of people searching a local term clicked a map pack result (Backlinko, 259 US searchers, 2020), and the map pack only has three places in it.
What we do to it every month
- Categories and services checked against what you actually sell
- Service area matched to where you genuinely drive
- Hours, including holidays, before the holiday
- Real photos from real jobs, added regularly
- Posts, so the profile reads as a business that is open
- Every review answered, the good ones and the bad ones
- A dated monthly map of where you rank, so you can see the effect
Who owns the profile?
You do, always. We are added as a manager. We never take ownership, and we will not work with an agency arrangement that requires it.
If we part ways you remove our access and nothing about your listing changes. That is the whole arrangement.
Is review gating allowed?
No, and we do not do it. Asking for a star rating first and then sending only the happy customers to Google is review gating. Google's own policy bans discouraging negative reviews or selectively soliciting positive ones, and the FTC's guidance to marketers says plainly: do not ask for reviews only from customers you think will leave positive ones.
Every customer gets the identical request. It is slower and it is the only version that is safe to run.
Does the profile affect AI answers?
Yes, substantially — Google Business Profile supplies about 45% of the AI citations in the services category (BrightLocal, 166,499 services citations, August 2026). But not uniformly: ChatGPT leans on Yelp, which appeared as a source in 80% of its answers in the same study.
Which is why "optimize your Google profile for ChatGPT" is backwards, and why claiming your Yelp listing is part of this work. More on that here.
Common questions
How much does Google Business Profile management cost?
Standalone plans vary widely by vendor; GMB Gorilla, for one, publishes $400 a month. With Pull Count it is part of the $1,297 monthly program rather than a separate line, alongside the website, booking, reviews and local SEO.
Who owns my Google Business Profile?
You do. Pull Count is added as a manager and never takes ownership. If you leave, you remove our access and nothing about the listing changes.
Should I only ask happy customers for reviews?
No. Screening customers by sentiment before sending them to Google is review gating. Google policy bans it, and the FTC tells marketers not to ask for reviews only from customers they expect to be happy. Ask everyone the same way.
What it costs
$1,297 a month for the Core package, with no setup fee. At a $375 ticket and a 40% contribution margin an extra haul leaves about $150, so $1,297 divides into nine hauls. Change either number and the answer changes. Bought one at a time at the lowest price each vendor publishes, the main pieces of Core come to about $1,155 a month — $142 less than Core. Every source is on the pricing page.
